Artistry Resources

In all of my research for potential stories, events and facts, one thing always crops up - the FM Metro is a growing art hub! Since I won't be around to cover the local art scene any longer, I wanted to leave you with a few resources.

If you're an artist, or aspiring artist, here are some ways that you can participate in strengthening and expanding the art community:

• Join the FM Underdogs Artistic Group, FM Visual Artists or the Fine Arts Club.

• Support local artists such as EpicBoxParty3, Annie Hough, and Kpheck Studio through purchasing their art or attending their events.

• Attend classes taught by local artists frequently hosted at the Plains Art Museum, Rising Dawn Ceramics, Unglued or Clay Your Way.

I hope that this facet of our community continues to grow and develop!
