In response to the rising number of posts that I see requesting support and help, today's community spotlight is going to be a conglomeration of resources. The list that is below is non-exhaustive and only include the services that I know of. Other organizations, such as Churches United also have resource lists. If you know someone that is struggling and may need assistance, please don't hesitate to share this with them!
Food Shelves / Pantries
Interesting fact: Food Banks and Food Pantries (a.k.a. Food Shelves) are not the same thing. Food Banks are warehouses that primarily store and distribute large quantity donations to local Food Pantry networks. Food Pantries then distribute those foods to our Neighbors in need. However, some Food Banks also have food distribution programs alongside their warehouse function, and Food Pantries also accept large donations alongside small donations, which is why they are sometimes used interchangeably. Both are necessary in order to sufficiently serve our neighbors.
Here is a Pantry location and Distribution list for the Fargo/Moorhead/West Fargo area, put together by Great Plains Food Bank, which is the only Food Bank that serves all of North Dakota and Clay County Minnesota!
Emergency Shelters
Fraser Ltd./Stepping Stones Resource Center: 701-232-3301, 2902 University Drive South, Fargo, ND 58103, Hours of Office Operation are Monday through Friday from 8 am - 5 pm. Safe housing for youths and families.
Micah's Mission: 218-656-7495, 1901 1st Ave N. Moorhead, MN 56560, Hours of Office Operation are 8 am - 7 pm. Safe housing for everyone.
New Life Center: 701-235-4453, 1902 3rd Ave N. Fargo, ND 58102. Safe housing for men ages 18+.

Stable Housing & Rent Assistance
Fargo Housing Authority: 701-293-6262, 325 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102, Hours of Operation are Monday through Thursday from 8 am - 4:30 pm, and Friday from 8 am - 12 pm. Housing & Rent Assistance.
Cass County Housing Authority: 701-282-3443, 805 Sheyenne St, West Fargo, ND 58078, Hours of Operation are Monday through Thursday 8 am - 12 pm & 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm, and Friday from 8 am - 12 pm. Housing & Rent Assistance.
