You asked, I listened - this week's artist has been requested more than any other artist. Let's give it up for Eckoe at EpicBoxParty3! 🥳
Having been described by her mother as an artist since the day she could hold a pencil, Eckoe has spent her life devoted to creating art and only within the last decade began selling it, with a hope in doing so, that she can show younger generations that creating art is a valid and fulfilling career path.
Much of her painted art is abstract with repeating patterns and bright colors that are UV Light receptive. It's created with an alternative crowd in mind, however, anyone can find delight in the interesting, surrealistic and sometimes cute aspects of her art! In addition to painting, she spreads the joy of art through decorating and hiding rocks for others to find! Equally awesome, she also upcycles furniture and shares a positive message with our community every Monday!
Besides creating art, Eckoe is also active in the FM Underdogs Artistic Group and the FM Visual Artists group, participating in events and opportunities that they host and partnering with other local independent artists. She has featured her work at events like FILTH FEST, the Red River Market, and Makers Market at Green Goods. Coming up, she's a featured vendor at Borderline Chalkfest, which will be held in the Wahpeton / Breckenridge area. You can also find Eckoe at Black Cat Bakery in Moorhead on most Sundays and in different parks making art throughout the week.
